Institute of Management and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram
(CIMAT) is promoted under the aegis of The Kerala State Co-operative
Bank Ltd. (KSCB), proposed to offer postgraduate management
education to deserving candidates by offering a 2 year Master's
Degree in Business Administration (MBA). While the Kerala
State Co-operative Bank is the sponsor, the proposed MBA course
will be run as a separate unit under Co-operative Institute
of Management and Technology (CIMAT) , a registered body under
the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific Charitable Societies
Act, in 1994. The CIMAT campus situates at Manvila, Kulathur,
Thiruvananthapuram, which is 13 kms. away from the city. For
the college, a state of the art building had constructed with
all the most modern facilities for students. The MBA course
is proposed to start from the academic year 2010-11.
